Our Instructors
Our instructors are who make Breathe Yoga the incredible and welcoming place to get decades of expertise and guidance through your yoga practice. Below are bios for their backgrounds, types of classes they teach, and more!
Darrell
Darrell Watson is a Morganton native who has been with Breathe since day one. As a Human Movement Specialist, Personal Trainer, and Manual Therapist, he earned his RYT 200 in 2016 through Kaoverii Weber’s Subtle Yoga therapeutic training. His slow, breath-focused classes build nervous-system resilience, helping students shift from fight-or-flight to rest-and-digest. They also work on posture to ease pain and improve performance. Students leave relaxed.
Erica B.
Erica Baxter is a certified yoga teacher, personal trainer, and health coach. She loves blending all three to help people feel stronger, move with ease, and care for themselves on and off the mat. Her classes emphasize mindful movement, breath, and balance, and they welcome students of every level exactly as they are. Erica believes wellness isn’t about perfection but about finding sustainable ways to feel good in body and life.
Jo
Jo Alberts has practiced yoga since 2009 and trained in Subtle® Yoga with Breathe in 2016. Her background in experiential education and a 2021 human services degree as a Recreational Therapy Assistant fuel her passion for making yoga accessible to all. She has taught children, teens, families, seniors, and recovery groups. Her classes invite students to explore at their own pace and leave more grounded, empowered, and curious.
Larisa
Larisa Scott is a 500-hour yoga teacher who spent seven years practicing and teaching Ashtanga before returning to training with a focus on movement for longevity. Since 2020 she has taught the LYT Yoga Method, which blends yoga and functional movement to build stability and mobility for life off the mat. She lived in nine cities growing up, including in Saudi Arabia, and met her husband when she auditioned for his band. They still perform together.
Laura
Laura Ford Huber is a horticulturist and bioregional medicinal herbalist who brings her passion for interconnectedness and earth stewardship to yoga. A 500+ hour yoga teacher specializing in trauma-informed and adaptive practice, she has guided vinyasa and somatic flows for over a decade and is pursuing yoga therapy certification. Rooted in body-mind-breath connection, her classes welcome everyone and everyBODY into belonging and transformation.
Molly
Molly Snow brings a quiet voice and a big heart to Breathe Soft and the classes she covers as a substitute. Part of Breathe since October 2025, she has trained with Yoga With an Edge in Hickory and Asheville Yoga Center. Her gentle presence offers a warm welcome and room to settle in, soften, and practice at your own pace.
Peggy
Peggy Carter has been part of Breathe since its earliest days with founding owner Rhonda. She brings a warm, welcoming presence and experience sharing yoga with people of all ages and backgrounds. Her offerings include yoga nidra, inviting deep rest and stillness. Peggy creates space for each person to feel comfortable, included, and welcome to explore their practice with her.
Sarah
Sarah Spinelli brings warmth, humor, and thoughtful reflection to yin, restorative yoga, meditation, and flow. Her classes invite you to listen inward, explore at your own pace, and trust your experience. Expect gentle encouragement, practical philosophy, and permission to rest. Whether you seek movement or stillness, Sarah offers space to arrive as you are, without needing to prove a thing.
